The only thing I did different in this bed this year was use ElixEarth (formerly Agtivate).
In the past 10 years, we have very consistently harvested 6 pounds of potatoes per pound of seed potato planted. Today, I pulled my first bed of potatoes and we yielded a whopping 58 pounds of harvest from the 6 pounds of seed potatoes planted in the 4′ x 9′ bed. That’s a yield of over 9.5 lbs. per pound of seed potato, and a yield of 1.5 pounds per square foot! The only thing I did different in this bed this year was use ElixEarth (formerly Agtivate). And thanks to our mulch based soil, I only had 2 rotten potatoes in the whole bed, even though we’ve had an incredibly wet season. Back To Eden Film It works folks!
